Sample Itinerary

Here..... is our suggested itinerary for your holiday (with estimated hours in the saddle).On the full days rides we will provide a packed lunch and refreshments en route,and at some stage would like to know any preferences you would wish.Also any foods/drinks you certainly would decline.Most other things we are happy to confirm once you are here such as times of departure each day and alternative activities .Although we are able to offer a full weeks circuitous riding we have found that most guests prefer the idyllic location of the house as a base and have submitted the plan to suit.So,here goes............
Arrival......Collection from airport and proposed stop for meal on journey to house.

Day 1.....Following breakfast,a first meeting with the horses/short assessment to ensure suitable friend for the week,set out on first ride.This is flexible,up to four hours and ends back at the house where you are able to relax and appreciate the surroundings prior to dinner.

Day 2.....Ride to a local hotel.This ride again can be tailored to suit your wishes on the day and can be from 3hrs up to approximately 7hrs.At the destination there is a pool/tennis court etc. and a short walk to a monastery.Evening meal and an overnight stay here.

Day 3.....Breakfast and the morning spent at hotel prior to return ride to Mayors House,this ride can involve some exhilarating gallops and end with a testing hill climb.

Day 4.....Usually a welcome rest day involving a visit to Veliko Turnovo culminating in the light and sound show from Tsaravets castle.A short hours ride is optional early morning or late evening and any other local attraction can be visited.

Day 5.....The longest ride of the week to the historic town of Tryavna where we have our family evening BBQ and campsite.Normal arrival is early afternoon where a car will take you from the site into the old town,full of museums,churches and traditional architecture and crafts to enjoy before retiring for the evening.

Day 6.....The return ride to the mayors house and a farewell dinner.

Day 7.....Dependent upon departure time a final ride and if applicable perhaps a little jumping!
and our last goodbyes.
